TCC President Larry Rains and Director Bob Alford spent the day at the General Assembly Wed. April 7, 2009. They attended the Senate Judical Committee Meeting where President Rains testified concerning upgrading the training for constables in Tennessee.  State Rep./Union County Constable/TCC Vice President Constable Chad Faulkner also testified before the committee.  The Senate Committee voted to roll the bill for a couple of weeks in order to discuss the bill with their constables.  TCC officals talked with many Representatives and Senators that have become friends over the years.  It was learned that two present state representatives are also serving as constables and that four other representatives are former constables.
